Smithsonian Exhibit to Feature Steve Jobs\' Patents
The Smithsonian Institution will exhibit over 300 Steve Jobs patents on the National Mall with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, according to Yahoo News.
"Learn about the far-reaching impact of Steve Jobs' entrepreneurship and innovation on our daily lives, and how his patents and trademarks reveal the importance intellectual property plays in the global marketplace."
The exhibit opens May 11 and is entitled "The Patents and Trademarks of Steve Jobs: Art and Technology that Changed the World." It will be available through July 13 at the Smithsonian's Ripley Center.
Some highlights are a 1985 Apple Macintosh computer, mouse and keyboard; a 2005 NeXT computer; a 2010 Apple iPod; and copies of 312 documents.
